How To Prepare Delicious Ketchup 2018

the easiest way to make ketchup if you like to learn how to prepare delicious ketchup by your self here is how to do it , today I’m going to show you how to make your own tomato ketchup at home.

1.Prepare the ingredients to make your ketchup

start by taking a small onion peel it and we’re only going to use about half of it

next take some brown sugar and put one heaped tablespoon into a cup then fill the cup half way up with some hot water so the sugar dissolves once it’s cooled down put the half onion into the water

then using a hand blender we’re going to blend it in.

I made a bit of a mess so do be careful make sure there’s no big pieces of onion left

2.Mix the ingredients of ketchup

next we’re going to take a 200 gram jar of tomato paste and tip it into a bowl then add a quarter of a teaspoon of ground cloves, another quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 spoon of salt and 1/2 a teaspoon of mustard

pour in 3 tablespoons of white vinegar and the sugar and onion water we made earlier then using a whisk mix it all together if you want it slightly thicker just add less of the water and there we have our homemade tomato ketchup pretty cool huh?

you can take an old sauce bottle and using a funnel fill it back up and any leftover you can push back in the jar it tastes really really good and I like to serve mine in a ramekin to accompany my chips.
