Best way to stay warm in winter 2018 2019

How to stay warm in the winter 2018 if you work outside? today I’m going to share some useful tips to help you keep warm in the winter and we’re going to start with some of the basic hacks to keep you warm throughout the day with the least costs and efforts.
1.Start your day with a warm full breakfast meal
if it’s cold in the morning try starting your day with a nice warm breakfast, something like porridge will fill you up really well and help to keep your body warm throughout the morning and the rest of the day.

2.Wear warm clothes in lots of layers
as the last post spoke about the best morning routine hack in the winter morning you need wear warm clothes in lots of layers this will help insulate you and keep your body heat in if you’re going outside wear a warm jacket of course and don’t forget a scarf and some gloves and wearing a hat to keep your head warm will often make your whole body feel warmer.

3.Buy a thermal inner sole for your shoes
wearing fingerless gloves will keep your hands warm while still allowing you to do delicate things with your fingers you can of course wear two pairs of socks to keep your feet warm or get yourself some of those nice thick thermal ones and if you do suffer with cold feet you can get fluffy thermal inner soles which are perfect for lining your shoes and before you go out you can warm your shoes up with a hairdryer.

4.Try to stay active during the day
try to keep active and do some exercise this will produce body heat and keep you warm even after your exercise session has finished we recommend taking a look the the list of 5 best shoes for winter this year.

5. Use thermos to keep your food hot if you’re working far away
make yourself a warm lunch something like soup is ideal and if you’re working outside or away you can take it with you in a food flask, whilst we’re at it you should have lots of hot drinks throughout the day and if it helps you can use a thermos.

6.Make draft excluders for doors to keep rooms warm in the winter
if you’re getting drafts from under your door you can roll up a blanket and use it as a draft excluder and for internal doors you can make another draft excluder out of a pair of old tights chop one leg off with a pair of scissors and take a couple of wrapping paper rolls push them both into the type’s and you should have something which looks like the picture, next we need to thread it under the door so that one roll sits on each side you can now close and open the door and it’s got its own built-in draught excluder pretty cool huh?

7.Make a room heater using candles and terracotta plant pots
you can make your own room heater out of terracotta plant pots and tea light candles put down a heatproof mat and place on a pie dish sit all three candles in the middle of the dish and light them up place over a cooling rack or a grill take a small terracotta plant pot and sit it on the grill upside down over the candles then put a slightly bigger pot over the top and another one over that and finally place a coin on top over the hole these plant pots will retain and radiate the heat from the candles they do get really hot so do be careful it’s an effective and really cheap way to help warm your room

8.Warm your room and bed before you go to sleep
the moment the sun’s gone down make sure you draw your curtains to insulate the windows and when you’re going to bed you can of course use a hot water bottle to help warm the bed up first before you get in it or you could treat yourself to a nice electric blanket.
